The Adventures of Puss in Boots TV Series 2. Minor spoilersLets get a few things out of the way first. Number one being the lovely Puss, which in this series is not voiced by Antonio Banderas, but Eric Bauza instead. And the second one being that this show is targeted for a young audience, mainly kids, in comparison to the Shrek series and Puss own major flick, Puss in Boots, which were both meant for more of a family audience. The Adventures of Puss in Boots follows the adventures of a fancy cat in a hat and fine leather boots, protecting the city of San Lorenzo, a hidden place that got unveiled after a slight mishap, from bandits and the likes. And as of this point, thats pretty much all theres to it. Previously, Sig Sauer had told TTAG it had full confidence in the reliability, durability and safety of its strikerfired handgun platform, and insisted all. With Eric Bauza, Jayma Mays, Grey DeLisle, Paul Rugg. A spectacular CG actioncomedy, THE ADVENTURES OF PUSS IN BOOTS stars one of DreamWorks Animations most. Directed by Raman Hui. With Antonio Banderas, Gilles Marini, Charlotte Newhouse, Chris Miller. Puss in Boots returns with the help of three kittens to rescue a. The plot itself is incredibly shallow, but filled with new villains, different locations and a ton of witty remarks and puns. Pretty much all the ingredients for a kids show are in here, but does it all mix together Well, yes and no. Its not as much the plot, as it is the execution of it. As I mentioned before, this show is targeted for a younger audience as the movies, and it really shows. I Want To Watch The Full Movie Of Puss In Boots 2: Nine Lives And 40 Thieves ' title='I Want To Watch The Full Movie Of Puss In Boots 2: Nine Lives And 40 Thieves ' />The subplots are fair, the characters quite standard, and the jokes and puns are. The plot is also quite innocent, teaching you the basic lessons such as friendship is important and always fulfill your promises. Not that I mind all that myself, but it made me feel a bit old as I was watching it. There is no real progression in the story as of yet, and the characters dont exactly change either. Though Puss is still how he used to be, if not a bit better in terms of skills and moves, but also a bit more corny. The characters are enjoyable, but slightly forgettable. Though most of them are shown in pretty much every of its currently five episodes, they dont really stand out too much other than like three of them, one being the Puss. Their personalities are quite standard, but fun either way. Now lets get on the technical aspects. Being a Netflix Original, and still produced by Dreamworks, one would expect this to have about the same quality as the before mentioned movies. Unfortunately, it seems they had a bit of a tight budget to work with, and the animation greatly suffers under this. The character models still look fairly decent, but are rendered a lot rougher, and the movement of the characters tends to be either a bit clunky or unrealistic, and worse than the original Shrek movie. Though the special effects they put in are pretty nice at times, I do wish it all looked a bit more smooth, but its something Ive overlooked while watching. The voices are quite good. Every characters voice fits nicely with its personality, and props to Eric Bauza for being able to pull off a pretty good Puss. It really feels like the voice actors put their hearts into the voices, which is expected from a show using Puss in Boots as its base plot, known and loved by many. It is the reason Ive watched the first season all the way through and liking it, simply because its enjoyable to even listen to, accompanied by good and fitting music. Long story short, The Adventures of Puss in Boots is a kids show, and fun to watch if youre in the mood for it. The animation is slightly sub par, and the plot simplistic, but the characters are enjoyable and at times might even make you laugh. It all really depends on what youre looking for, and if after reading this review you feel like watching it, then its probably for you. If not, then theres a big chance youve grown out of these kinds of shows. Either way, I enjoyed it as something in between, and its definitely worth trying out if youre a fan. After all, hes still the cat with the hat and the boots, still causing trouble, and looking good while doing it. The classic US stereotype of attempted Iranian ideological indoctrination via chants of Death to America and such has been old hat for quite some time. As noted by the New York Times on Saturday, in the past few years Iranian pro government propaganda efforts have increasingly taken the form of rap videos glorifying the countrys military, spread on sites like local You. Tube equivalent Apparat and apps like Telegram. The Times rounded up some of the most high profile attempts to appeal to the nations youth by pairing Iranian rappers with sweeping shots of military personnel and CGI infused battle scenes, some of which are pretty over the top. Theyre fascinating to watch, especially at a time when the current presidential administration has gone full hawk on Iran. Theyre also more than a little uncomfortable, both because they show an oppressive governments approach to a digitized era of propaganda and, if were being honest, they do kind of resemble pro military media produced in places like the US. One video highlighted by the paper features Amir Tataloo, a musician with a hard partying, gangster style reputation, who extolled our absolute right to have an armed Persian gulf while singing alongside naval personnel on the frigate Damavand. The Americans threaten us, we want to say, If you attack us, if you dare to do so, a rain of hot melted lead will be poured on you, co creator Farhad Azimi told the paper. The American aircraft carriers, vessels and warships will be sunk and converted into beautiful aquariums in the bed of the Persian Gulf. So yeah, all this is unsettling. But again, lest Americans get too high on their horses about this, the US military industrial complex, its marketing partners and Hollywood filmmakers have basically been doing higher budget versions of the same thing for decades. One of the more obvious examples is the NFL, where flashy flyovers with high tech military jets, troops marching with flags and even camouflage jersey sales have been a fixture for years, and the military has pumped tens of millions of dollars into patriotic displays at sports games. Others include the close relationship between the military and the video game industry, or its tight collaboration with the movie industry. Indications are strong President Donald Trumps administration is seeking ways to back out of the US Iran nuclear deal, per CNBC, which would set the stage for tensions to escalate rapidlythough with stakes a good bit realer than CGI tsunamis and bullet time.
